1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as local storage or session storage for UI state, and server-side identifiers linked to your browser. Together we refer to them as "cookies" here when the effect is similar.

2. Why we use cookies

• Keep you signed in and protect forms from forgery
• Remember language, currency, and region
• Maintain security (e.g. abuse throttles, captcha state)
• Measure aggregated traffic and diagnose errors where enabled

3. Categories

Strictly necessary

Session/authentication cookies, CSRF tokens, load-balancer affinity cookies, and security cookies required for login, account settings, listing submission, and cooperation requests. These are processed under our legitimate interests and/or contract necessity. You cannot reject them if you want the Service to function in the browser.

Functional

Remember UI choices (e.g. dismissed banners, sort order) and optional convenience settings. If local law requires consent, we will gate them through a consent tool when one is deployed.

Analytics (non-essential where required)

We may use first-party or privacy-oriented analytics to count visits and funnels. Where analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, we will request consent where required.

Marketing (if introduced)

Advertising or remarketing pixels would only run with appropriate consent and disclosure; currently such tags may be absent—check your browser's developer tools if you need certainty.

4. Typical first-party cookie / storage names (illustrative)

Exact names vary by deployment and Flask configuration but commonly include session cookies for the web app, CSRF form fields/tokens, and locale keys mirroring your selected language. Do not rely on this list for compliance audits without inspecting the live response headers in your environment.

5. Third-party cookies

OAuth providers (Google, VK, Yandex, Telegram, Facebook, etc.), embedded maps, reCAPTCHA or other anti-abuse widgets, CDNs, or video hosts may set their own cookies when their content loads. We do not control those technologies; see their respective policies.

6. Duration

Session cookies expire when you close the browser (unless "remember me" is used). Persistent cookies may last from days to months depending on function. Security cookies may be short-lived by design.

7. Browser controls & opt-out

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will break login. Industry opt-out pages (e.g. for certain ad networks) apply only to participating vendors. For any dedicated consent banner we deploy, use its toggles to withdraw non-essential processing.

8. Do Not Track

There is no global standard; we currently do not respond to DNT signals beyond applying the same privacy controls described here.

9. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new technologies. Continued use after the update date constitutes notice where allowed by law.
